In 1999, she graduated from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in biotechnology (specialization - genetic engineering). After graduating, she worked in the in vitro tissue culture laboratory at the Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture in Skierniewice for one year. In the years 2000-2010 she was a sales representative, and later the head of the Warsaw unit of MERANCO Sp. z o.o., dealing with the sale of laboratory equipment for molecular biology; she created and subsequently managed the unit. In the years 2002 - 2007 she cooperated with the DNA Sequencing and Oligonucleotides Synthesis Laboratory of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, developing sales of services. Since 2008, she has been working as the Head of the Sales and Marketing Department at Genomed S.A. She is a co-founder and joint owner of the company. In Genomed S.A. she manages the operational activities, coordinates sales activities and develops a range of services aimed at the science. In 2020 she graduated from the Academy of Leadership Psychology at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology.

In the last 5 years, Iwona Wach has not been convicted of crimes or fraud and has not received a court ban, on acting as a member of management or supervisory bodies, in commercial law companies. During the last 5 years, there has been no bankruptcy, receivership or liquidation of any entity in which Iwona Wach was a member of the supervisory board or management body.

Iwona Wach does not conduct any activities in direct competition to Genomed S.A. nor does she work in a competitive company as a partner in a civil law partnership, partnership or as a member of the body of a competitive limited company or a member of the body of any competitive legal entity, except for:

-    Usługi Marketingowe Iwona Wach as a natural person performing a business activity, for which she obtained the consent of the Supervisory Board of the Genomed S.A.

Iwona Wach is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the Act of 20 August 1997 on the National Court Register.
