Sequencing results
Results are presented as a text file containing the sequence and as a fluorogram in an .abi or .ab1 format (which opens with
FinchTV
lub
Chromas
).
Sequencing results are available on the website within up to two working days since Genomed's receiving the samples. In the case of the "Extra Long Run" sequencing, the realisation time might extend to three days.
We recommend viewing the fluorogram (*.ab1 file). The program that analyses fluorograms is not always successful when analysing sequences. There are cases in which the identification of the base that is located at the given position of the sequence is possible only when looking at the fluorogram. In the above mentioned programs it is possible to edit each base and to export a text file with the corrected sequence.
